As I sit in my space of peace, I am grateful for the peace I have within me that keeps me grounded and feeling whole and one within myself, the part of me I love most. It has been a difficult journey to maintain and I am exhausted from always having to keep up my stamina to be able to keep up with the social standards of life and to maintain the standards put before me within my own life.

      Although, I am on my way to recognizing I have my own standards, I have my own belief system and I have my own dreams and goals in life. So much time has come to pass and I realize and I am realizing this is not the life in which I dreamt of living, so it is my time, and it is time to make a change to live the life I have always dreamt of living and just go for it. What do I have to lose, besides everything or nothing, if I choose to stay and do nothing, I will no longer be living my own truth.

     The time has come to change the dynamics of my life and to flip the script on its very ugly head and just go for it. I choose to follow my own light and to become the light maybe others need at this time, to allow them a different resource or avenue to pursue dreams unfulfilled and inspire others everywhere in the world, maybe to pick up all of their internal pieces as well, and begin putting themselves back together again, piece by piece and peace within peace.

Embrace your light, and may it guide you to the life you’ve envisioned. Remember, it’s never too late to rewrite your story and live authentically.

In a tranquil space, I sit and ponder,

Grateful for the peace that I harbor.

A journey tough, with standards to meet,

Yet within, a drum of different beat.

Standards mine, a path I carve,

Dreams and goals, in heart, I starve.

Time whispers, "Change, it's due,"

To live the dream, to self be true.

What's to lose? What's to gain?

Inaction's cost, a silent bane.

Truth beckons, with light to cast,

A script to flip, from shadows past.

I choose to lead, with light in hand,

A beacon for those, in life's quicksand.

To inspire and lift, with dreams anew,

Piece by piece, peace within, to pursue.
